Mt. Rushmore was a great experience. It was a lot of fun to go there and learn about one of our nations historical places. I learned alot about it, and why it was made. We walked through a trail and read lots of interesting thing about the presidents that were there, and how it was made in general. It was incredible to learn the secrets of how they made Mt. Rushmore. I thought it was a really interesting place to go visit.

The electricity and excitement has been building up and now the trip is what the second years called fun. Mafia was played in the back witch was a lot of fun but this was the most fun I have had in bus for a while. It was kinda funny that we only had massive amounts of fun on the last day of the road trip. I’m so excited to finally see my mom and I have a surprise for my brother that involves my pop gun and hair. I’m gonna miss all the kids during the summer but I’m sure well be able to hang out some how but I’m still gonna miss them.

Yellowstone

Yellowstone is awesome! We saw tons of Elk, Bison, Buffalo, and even a bear! The geysers were really cool as well. We learned that they are full of bacteria, and that if you fall in one, and the heat doesn't kill you, the bacteria will a few days later. Even if you just put your foot in! Because we make antibiotics for our 98.6 degree bodies, we don't have anything to get rid of bacteria that grows in scalding hot water. After Yllowstone, we ate at Jr.s' grandmas' restaurant. She made a bunch of hamburgers, and some salmon and veggie burgers as well. Food not cooked by us is always greatly appreciated! =)
